Plenty of busses going to the event ...stay in Drogheda or Collon or Ardee which arnt too far away and will offer a good night life afterwards ...then again forget Collon

ahh now Benni Bon Jovi are brilliant !!
There is no camping for Slane gigs, and there are busses from all major towns in Ireland
I want to go never been to anything like this

Deffo wouldn't bring the car anywhere near slane that day, tempting as it is to sleep in it after! Lots of buses
I heard that if you play a Bon Jovi song backwards you can hear the devil
and even worse ,if you play it forwards you can hear Bon Jovi

Went to OASIS and got the bus, never again, absolute nightmare coming home, it took 3 and a half hours to get out of the concert..
Went to Kings of Leon and camped, one of the best weekends i've ever had, great craic in the field after with all the other campers and you can drive home the next day, stop off for some pub grub and a quick cure..
Won't be going next year because Bon Jovi are pants but my advice is definitely camp!!

Yeah as long as they're accompanied by adults i think it's fine...if you're camping and have your kids then i'd suggest renting or getting a loan of a van or jeep and throwing a mattress in the back or something, much more comfortable and wouldn't be able to hear absolutely everything that's going on in the campsite/field
