Well, is that not the truth?? Alcohol does kill more people. I am just trying to point out that people who smoke weed are not all "wasters" and "scumbags" as was mentioned earlier.

Well...you only have to read my profile to see that....but I don't like the stoner tag....that implies I am stoned all the time. I smoke the same way people have a few drinks....but clearly its more socially acceptable to get smashed drunk. People who smoke weed are really getting a bad name on here!!! I know so many that live perfectly functional lives...have jobs, in fact one of my friends has been promoted quite alot in his company and smokes his head off every weekend!! I think, as statistics go (and I am not quoting any) alcohol kills more people every year than a few joints do!!
So long as they share!!!! Lol!!! I smoke (not all day, every day)...but it doesnt not affect my life negatively in any way. I am studying computer science and doing quite well if I do say so myself!! Also several of the lads in my class also smoke....all of them do well on the course also. Weed though...not cheap hash....huge difference!
Hey....first time ever starting one of these but I have a burning question!! I am sure this has been asked before but I have never seen it. What is peoples opinions of women who sleep with a guy on the first date? Personally, I think in this day and age she should be able to do whatever she likes but people's opinions differ greatly!!! I have a male friend who nearly loses respect for a women if she doesn't sleep with him but as I said....peoples opinions vary alot on this subject. So let me know....I am especially interested in the mens opinions!!
Been to them all so far and this years will probably be my last as MCD are now involved (hence the abysmal killers, elbow and digweed on the lineup and the introduction of sunday tickets from last year). This year the lineup is very similar to an Oxegen lineup and I fear that this is a sign of things to come for Electric Picnic unfortunately! Poxy MCD!!! Expect day tickets for the whole event next year and the decline of what was the best festival in Ireland. But roll on The Cure and Orbital....then maybe head home on Sunday!!
There should be a new twist on the format this year.....where the contestants enter a hunger games/battle royale type game and fight until only one is left alive!! And then the winner gets to slaughter louis walsh and the rest!! Of course, singing the whole way through!
I was slapped as a child and every so often got the wooden spoon!! That was fun!! I have so much respect for my parents and always have and I never, EVER, feared them. I wasn't slapped often though, just when I was really really bold....I was reared properly so that I wasn't bold too often!! I also know of a friend who was never slapped and was a holy terror as a teenager!!
Reading Harbour by John Ajvide Lindqvist. He is like the Swedish Stephen King. Also highly recommend Let The Right One In and Handling the Undead by thje same author. A Thousand Spledid Suns by Khaled Hosseini is excellent too (he wroth The Kite Runner)
