robpacciani: That is one of the real perks of being a member. You can go into the ladies changing room and install a mini CCTV monitor.

A lady wearing white silk golf trousers, and a bright green thong really catches the eye.

That wasn't the answer I was expecting rob. Installing a spycam in a ladies changing roo..Can't ever see me doing that.

ohwiseone: Interested in learning how to play golf and was wondering what the best courses are and if there is a cheaper way to play rather than pay the high membership costs?

Fantastic sport and great socially. It takes time though.
Don't spend a fortune on clubs. Start with a starter pack and see how you go. Having friends who play would help as you could learn a lot just from playing with them.
Most clubs are cheap these days and yearly membership can be had from 4/500 euros which entitles you as a member to play at specific times all year round, weather permitting. Best advice I can give you is to get the grip right first.

Alternately come to Cork and I will teach you.wink

I'd bring a sweeper and check it out first. Or ask Rob what Greens he uses and avoid them (or at least the changing rooms).

oh I am really liking this golf already, all those years I wasted playing football in the muck and rain and cold and ice and snow and I could have been playing golf in the sun mumbling

Are the trips to Spain included in the membership fee's very happy

There is a very good golf course across the road from where I live.
Ive never played but my father is rather good.....winning the captains prize 3 times in past 4 yrs. Unheard of before.
Where is was in portugal has 5 championship golf courses within mins of each other too.

Actually there would probably be a good place to go......groups of male golfers on outings. wink
