Benitez to be offered a 4 season contract....winter, spring, summer and autumn
Nov 21, 2012 10:24 AM CST Di Matteo
Has to be Benitez, they wouldn't have sacked Di Matteo without having a replacement lined up, i'd say it's the same person they were going for before Di Matteo won the Champions League, he was never gonna be there for long, everyone knew it and as soon as he lost a few on the trot then he was always gonna get the bullet...why anybody would want that part time job is beyond me, until they ship out Terry, Lampard and Cole then any new manager will never have the full backing of the dressing room...

My money is on Benitez (he's 8/1 ON)...or maybe Redknapp??

Nov 21, 2012 10:38 AM CST Di Matteo
fast_and_furious: personally I think guardiola will go to Chelsea now if abrom does a good persuading Job plus next manager of united? Mourinho

There's ongoing negotiations with Benitez as we speak...only a matter of time i'd say..

I don't know if Mourinho will be their next manager but if i was to bet now i'd say Guardiola

He could walk into any available job tomorrow, there's not a club that would turn him down...if he wanted it then he'd take it regardless of wanting a year away from football or not...i don't think the Chelsea job is too appealing for any manager looking for a long term contract, they'll always be looking over their shoulder...Benitez is dying to get back into management and is the only one desperate enough to take it...Guardiola isn't desperate and i doubt he wants it

never liked him as a manger but something just hit me! A big reason for trying to get him there maybe would be to try get the best outta Torres

You don't sign a manager just to get the best out of one player...

That didn't just hit you, it's been thrown around in the media all day...you just can't help yourself, stop the lying!! doh
