IMO - Since 2000 it dropped the St Michael and St Margaret brands and is now a PLC, does Banking and Finance and other stuff and M&S is owned by its shareholders and the HSBC. --- That is to bamboozle the public to hide the Corruption, creative accountancy, fiddling the offshore accounts, Tax and backhanders etc that the accountants F'ck about with before we get to see the annual figures.
I never shop there and know many others who refuse on the grounds that the clothing is sub standard quality for the price paid and I have the same contempt for the whole of the financial industry and City influenced takeovers, as I have for all Politicians.
