I am always returned to the "Not Found" pane where it recommends broadening the search requirements or offers several canned searches. Clearing the search requirements and clicking the "Search" button generally yields the same results. You would think the default requirements would be about as broad as one could get. Anyway the CS help desk wasn't a great deal of help. Too many here to go through all profiles.

I think you can do that but must start with a stated geographical proximity first. Say, seek for all non-smoker men within 50 miles, or so.
If non-smoking or a definite age range are important to you, you might stress such in your Profile too. Can't hurt.
But remember, this is "Connecting" singles, not "Matchmaking" singles. The site is generally designed to provide you an outlet to make connections, be they romantic, friendly, of shared interests, or whatnot. I personally believe it fulfills that role admirably, and can also help make matches. Don't get discouraged or (too) annoyed if it won't easily narrow your options. Its intent is to broaden them.

Interesting, never looked it that way. Left the matching sites. They have another type of scammer.
