last month I knew a man (named steve2013)after 1 month we had some communications through email messages, text messages, phone call, Finally I found he copied the letter from romance scam website! and he rejected to have communication with skype
and the new one I know the man on this site also (about a week)
he said that he works in DHL international but in his office he had old computer so he can't do the communication with skype, he would be appreciate if I buy the new computer for him!! ridiculous indeed!!

Well its happens everywhere you just need to be careful to give some personal information , read the scam Rules its written in here somewhere.

Not having Skype doesn't make him a scammer..buying him the new computer does. I don't have skype and don't plan on getting skype. I think technology has come enough into my life.

I have just got a 7" tablet from China, g/f (friend) sent it to me so we can talk on Skype, it's better than digi phone and I can use it in any hot spot. It fits neatly into my snow jacket inside pocket.
I love Chinese.
It is also a GPS

point well taken - it is becoming a serious problem on this site and turning off a lot of single people looking to meet, date and fall in love.
What can we expect of a free site? I understand my friend reported to the moderators a fellow that was using 2 contact number on this site out of Texas and it was the same guy and when she called his number...... guess what..... possible scam (he didn't get to the level of asking money) the numbers provided were not true ....
Skype is not a final answer to prevent scammer - although it is a good one....
However, when scammers are reported how long should it take to boot the plaggart off!

Lady, I am sorry but you met a scammer, The first lie of their is have no webcam and then they ask money to buy a webcam or new computer. They play with people's lonely situation and efforting to find a right person by their fake friendship. I have been here for nearly two months till now I met 7 scammers and I lost my hope that I might find a real person by CS. so, I use this dating site for only reading the threads and forums and poems because the people who is on forums and poem corners are gentlemen and ladies.I can say maybe 80 % of CS members are scammers.

You can normally tell scammers by the style of typing. The fact they want you to contact them through other places than here. They're generally widowed. Their locations quite often don't match up....I'd have people from London, Scotland message me.
They're happy to relocate. They tell you how wonderful you are in the first message....I know me and I know for sure I'm only half as wonderful as they say.
