You have to go with your feelings and move on in your own time or when someone of interest catches your eye.

It sounds like what you had with your ex is over and gone, best to keep it that way.

Sometimes it just wastes your energy and confuses you to try and work out why someone talks and acts the way they do when the relationship is over.

Good luck.....

peace devil

Why are you still speaking to her? Here's my advice: Tell her to go to hell. And of course you should move on. Don't you dare sit around and wait for her. Her mistake, her loss. At least you got the best end of the deal, your children. You are too good for her. Don't let her hurt you anymore. Move on and don't look back.

Your right to continue to try and talk to the kids. I'm guessing from the situation posted that you are the only stable thing in their lives right now. I would speak to the kids and only the kids when you call though.

They share kids and why should he stoop to her level...if his heart is rid of her,why not communicate with her,in brief only ofcourse.....sounds to me like she is realizing that the grass isn't always greener on the other side.......

Duce, unfortunately when children are involved ex's uses that against you to get to you, believe me mine did and still does and it has now been 5 years since I have left with my children. But the majority of the time they play games so that you do not get on with your life, however time to let go and say hey speak to me about the kids but nothing else, you need to be able to move on with your life without her popping up, and yes I am not going to say it is an easy thing to do however you do feel so much better once it is over and done with.

I had a similiar problem with my X wife a couple years back.. We have been apart 4 years and some change but for 2 of those 4 years i played the back and forth game of "one week i want you, next week i dont". I can feel for your situation as its not exactly the same but it is close. Love does wierd things to people and no matter how much you get hurt sometimes you just cant get rid of the blinders that block the truth and you continue on thinking "everything will be ok". I found out its not and cheating is a deal breaker with me no matter if its a woman or a man, cheating is cheating.

Good luck and dont let her play the game with you. You have a right to see your kids as long as you keep your end up and she is the one who cheated and left, so shame on her not you. :)

Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders and are far enough away from the problem you can see the road ahead. Stick the course, this is just what some people do....they are poopy heads!laugh

You sir have answered your own questions. You don't want here back(yes),and she has moved on, although it does sound like she may be unhappy with her choices. Again that is not your problem if you have lost your feelings for her. Move on and find happiness. Dr.

Duce,

My Ex is just that; my ex..I don't hate her, and I
won't trash her..It dodn't work out, and I claim my share for the reasons it didn't work out..But, she is my ex, and I am moving on, as is she..

Don't blame yourself, and don't blame her..

Blame is a trap..I wish my ex all the happiness she can find, and I hope she wishes me the same..

We did not work out. That does not mean that I won't find a lady that will work out for me, and, I, for her.

The past is gone, and all we have to look forward to is the future..

I know what I can bring to a relationship, and I think you know, too.

That should be, and, must be the focus..

Good fortune, Duce..Fate is sometimes kind!!
