Happy Saturday to you too, Reo. wave

Today, I had a bit of a sleep in, then had a friend over who wanted to catch up before I leave on my cruise. Then I fluffed around shopping with no.3 son to grab a few things he needs to go away. Came home, did some housework, chopped some firewood and changed some downlight globes then got ready to come to work, here until midnight grin

Got the day off tomorrow so will be packing bags and more shopping for last minute items, cleaning house etc.

asha69: hey merri im a night owl,,, at home i enjoy the odd night out, but theres nothing better than been safe at home

Hey Asha, I know that going out is good... but for me.. I was out almost every night for 20 years with my dancing, studio work and practice, all day sunday ... so for me, I finally now find I enjoy my house, my garden etc..

I will tell you something funny... When my new neighbors moved in next door... the guy actually knocked on my door to ask if I was alright... because I would leave for work before he did, and then I would not get home from the studio until after he and his family had gone to bed... therefore, he only saw me home on a Saturday morning, and I thought it was nice that he came to enquire around my welfare.. laugh

For years I never was able to spend easter with my family, because the dance comps ran all easter weekend. and then of course, to lighten up our lives, we hit rock n roll for some easy free style on the sat night... just had to do some non regulated dance.... sorta needed the outlet..

I now just am happy to say hello to my house and my things.

I do I know all my neighbours around me and a few have my mobile number as I have theirs I am a firm believer in neighbourhood watch makes me feel way safer plus I am very lucky to have such nice folks living next to me daisy handshake thumbs up It's good to introuduce yourself to your neighbours just don't live out of each others pockets be mindful of their privacy as they should for you JMO! Knowing them if you feel you are ill or in trouble you can call on them.

curly28: Yeah you are right think I caught the cold a few weeks back when us girls had a night out took me a week to get over it , it's an old age thingy Yep comfy at home tonight have a lovely Sunday too hope sun is shining in the hills for you tomorrow

Hi Curls... hope as the days go by, your cold thingo disappears.

Its been cold here, but the sun has been shining, and I run about in a singlet.. tis because I don't stop still, and I get really warm ... until I have job completed.. and then bbbbrrrrrcold

But all my work this weekend has been around wood, clearing up a pile of mess down the side, and bought another ton of redwood today, so that needed stacking... my fire in the house is a blessing, it keeps the room really toasty.. grin

and I did have help, which made is all the easier, and fun. yay

Haha, yeah I'm not one to swear, usually, but in this case it just really seemed to fit the occasion, I mean situation.
The new was to be delivered this morning, (Sunday). Well they came about 8:30AM rang the doorbell many times, rang the home phone number, tried the mobile, banged on the door and yelled out into the back yard. I slept right through it! And so did my tenant and his room is right next to the front door!
So now I have to arrange another delivery day.mumbling mumbling
