Green_Sleeves: Jesus Pedro, didn't you spend a ball of money buying that car only last year?!! My car is burning oil too, not so bad, or at least its not visible in this weather, but on cold winter mornings it does be embarrassing the smoke coming out of it! Blue oil smoke to be exact. Its a known problem with the Starlet, maybe a lot of Toyota engines?? Worn piston rings.

It can be sorted with new rings, but, its a lot of work and costly too. In my case its pretty easy to pick up a replacement engine if needs be and drop it in, plenty of them about. €100-200 would get you one. Don't know whats in your Celica, 1.6? 1.8??

yep they were notorious for burning oil but they'll keep soldiering on..just needs to be topped up with oil every now and again and it'll be grandireland
