I would definetely stop and lightly brush your lips with water
just to moisten them. Then I would gently open your mouth and
let a drop or two of water from my fingers drip into your mouth.

It would be to hot to dig a grave in the desert. Although, the buzzards might be interesting to watch. I reckon the begging for help would get on my nerves.

well....carcass is the term used for a dead body,...so I guess, nothing I would do would be of any help
