I remove my photos when I know I'm going to be offline for a long period to avoid a backlog of messages when I return, also when I get a bit jittery about internet safety from time to time.
I have a very good memory and can remember photos of folk who showed them years ago.

I can not put my photo up ? most of ie and else where can.i had pic on while back and also used to put just for fun cartoon pics up alwell,mailed mods about this and still no reply.i would like to put pic on but can not, its nice to see who is who when posting,oh well

I meant why do people decide to remove their photos after having them on a profile for a long time, not the age old question of why people don't post photos.
I'm not criticising their decision, just curious as to why.

They've decided not to put anymore on their profile recent or not.Maybe they were banned at one time.

Ah that's a good point, maybe after a ban period they make a decision not to post photos.
I'm really interested because as I said in the OP,I do get jittery about internet security sometimes and worry about having photos here. I wondered perhaps if anyone had experienced anything untoward with their photos and consequently removed them.

Perhaps, some people got concerned about someone else copying their photos but too late. As soon as any one post a photo -here and everywhere- then anyone can copy it and use it any way they want.
Also, all pictures and posts here become CS'property.
