Actually the immediate universe is about 14 billion years old. Science did not conjure that up. Through observation of movement of the stars which seem to be coming from some common point they have been able to determine that, and a big bang theory. Science has proven that the speed of light is aprox. 186,000 miles per second for instance. The sun we see at any given moment is the sun as it was 8 minutes ago.
BTW,, a theory is not a fact. A theory will be based on available evidence and once proven with evidence it becomes fact.

but we have to look at who the actual creator of bad/evil things is, it isn't God, it's Satan...and as long as there is people who deny God, Satan has a strong foothold...if God cured all evil in this world (which he can) we wouldn't be living on earth, we would be in heaven...I really don't see how hard this is to see

First of all I'm so very sorry...I mean that from the bottom of my heart...
you see justjim63 like I said we need to be blaming the accuser/ the one that actually let evil here on earth...I don't have all the answers, actually none hardly at all...one thing I do know is that your baby is looking down on you and is with you every step of the way...and one day you will be together again...life is NOT fair, but all we can do is put our trust in Jesus Christ and know that one day we will be reunited and to never part again.------ This thread is Archived ------

How very sad Jim. Perhaps these tragic times are when religion is a comfort to believers, and that's not such a bad thing is it?

Scientist haven't proven anything. Easy to say something happen 60 billion years ago. Can anyone actually fathom how long ago that was
Let's see these brilliant scientist create a life form that thinks and acts on it's own as well as has the capability to procreate. Let's see them create a power source that goes on for million of years without burning out like the sun. They have theories (ideas and beliefs about these things) but are powerless to create anything like it. If they did, it would still be out of the materials supplied to them. Not out of nothing.
