Sunny143: I am saying this from personal experience,I have realised one thing a persons mind is damn complicated,if you want to be peaceful you can turn to religion for sure,but I practised vipassana,its an ancient meditation technique followed by Gautam Buddha himself..By doing so you will enter into a wonderful journey of your mind,but its not a peaceful thing to do ..but the result is reaching,"A no thought state,"and that alone is eternal peace,and I am sure that no other religion can give 100 % peace,when ever you pray to god,your mind become superficially peaceful,but the inner mind is full of thoughts called sankaras in Vipassana,those thoughts could be good or bad they either give pleasure or pain,if you train yourself to react to both the thoughts equally only then you can achieve this peace..and its the toughest task I would say.I loved this buddhist technique of meditation because it has not asked me to belive in God or belive in any religion or follow buddhism..it only told me to realise myself.It was the most awesome thing that I ever experienced in my life..10 days of noble silence..
you are twisting this around...when I say "inner peace" it has nothing to do with what my mind creates...it's an actual tranquil peace...the moment I gave my life to Jesus Christ before I could blink much less process a thought, I had peace that surpasses anything I've ever known...about that 10 days of noble silence...you for sure busted out of that realm...just kiddin' with you
