elephants, manatee, wolves, bears, sharks..... the list goes on. Not just from poaching - when humans steal animal habitats and makes it difficult for them to live - as well as hunters and development

As for the why? Greed, pure and simple. It makes a lotta money. And then we have the bare-faced cheek to believe we humans are superior to the animals?!

Beautiful animal, we had them here for over 20,000 years, but Cromwell ordered them all to be killed in the 17th century.
Last one died about 1780.
