mjpd67: would it not be kinder putting her to sleep

When she stops wagging her tail, pottering around the garden, and eating her food with relish, then I will know it is time. She's been with me for 11 years - I know her well, and when it is time, I will do the right thing.

Yeah.. I think it's about a 100 people a year see the inside of a prison over the licence. Madness. I understand the need to enforce laws and set examples... but sending people to prison is nuts?

Lol yes thats it, they don't want to be paying T.V. licence inspectors, they got some fair neck making people pay for one if they havent got a T.V, It just shows how they see us.

their ad bout the T.V. licence inspectors years ago cant find it on line.over 14,000 homes and businesses will be visited each month by the inspectors.thats what they said in the ad.not sure if the ad was on tv but I heard it on the radio and i'm sure I have a copy of it somewhere.was recording tunes and recorded ads as well so its on a old tape somewhere.but that's a lot of homes and businesses each month so it would take a lot of inspectors to cover that ground nearly to the point of not making any money after paying the inspectors ?? wonder was it all bs ?? just made up to push folk in to keeping up to date with the tv licence ?

Yep its like the dog wardens it cost more to keep them in jobs as to what the government make.I used to get the T.V woman inspector coming here and I used to run out the back of the house in such a way as she could see me eventhough I had a licence , it really gets them goinglaugh

If people ever stop falling for all the tricks they use to keep them watching (sports, soaps, xfactor, etc) they will have to make it compulsory for us to watch. Like school

The government are really pushing their luck with this one and I hope its a massive failure with a huge amount of entangled red tape.
