Ok ,if someone is never praying, ignores all the sharia laws, consuming alcohol, wearing miniest skirts and tightest jeans in the world, and when asked calls himself/herself a muslim.Should he/she be accepted as a muslim?
Is there such a thing like a non practicing or non religious muslim?or he/she just should be called a non religious person.

Well, you can use a phone, skype ,smoke signals ..and make all the calls you want
Leo_7: simple question needs a simple answer. Why people are so scared of giving direct answer to simple questions?

I have an acquaintance, not a friend, who claims they are a vegetarian yet is more than happy to eat chicken. Would I describe her as a veggie, not remotely! but in the interests of a peaceful life... I just make a point of never serving chicken when she is here.
the point is. With religious, semi religious or not folowers of, any religion parents, till adulthood you might comply with your parents wishes. On adulthood and later in your life, you already know and assess the subject of religion, to suit your believes, religious wise or not.

So you want control over what your friend eats and how she describes herself?
How would you feel if others defined you as not much of a friend?

Hi Leo with all my respects and I don't want to judge others people, maybe they need to know more about the required of their religion
It will be confusing as well with someone always wears hijab but still consuming alcohol, or every Sunday goes to church but cheating his/her partner such as a hypocrite person
They parctice or not its something between them self and their God. Some of ppl could be so religious but it doesnt mean they holy person, not us who judgement that.
So about how well their practice of their religion its privacy of their life, back to each other that person its self.
