I made friends with the owner of a gym, and some point he had gone into all of that but had turned completely away from it again. He had changed his routines and said taking things was insanly bad. His body was great, very taut but no huge muscle packs.
I prefer generally martial arts over pure gym work anyway. What use is it for a male to be all looking the deal, but unable to effectively defend himself? All for show but with no practical purpose, in my view is pretty pointless.
