I impulsively purchased a couple of evening dresses for my daughter in Ireland. She decided because I chose them, she would not wear them... and I am a little too far away to return them.
2girlsnocup: What is the worst thing you've ever picked up on a whim?
I was about to say non-specific urethritis, but then I remembered buying a Sega Saturn games console which turned out to be a complete flop(thank you very much Sony Playstation). I hope Sega realise just how many newspapers I had to deliver to pay for that although I bet they wouldn't even lose an hours sleep. Selfish.
2girlsnocup: We've all made them at one time in our lives and some are regretted.

For me, it was a treadmill. State of the art one that had all the bells and whistles. Installed it and used it about 3 times.
A pair of black suede boots. Cost me a fortune and the heel is so high that I have to walk leaning backwards so I don't fall on my face. Impossible.. but can I get rid of them? Not a chance!
I was walking along by the river Thames at Windsor and saw a 40ft, 6 berth cruiser for sale, and bought it I lived at Windsor for a year on it. Sold it for a profit

Hello gorgeous It was great to wake up, start the engine and have a day on the river. What always made me smile was when the queen was in residence at Windsor Castle, she was my neighbour!

Hello trouble
The Queen? that really is name dropping!!
I went on a holiday on a boat on the Thames with a load of friends once, needless to say there was plenty of alcohol involved - well what do they expect with pubs every 100 yards! we managed to pick up a shopping trolley on the prop and run aground all within the first two days, one of our party decided to mop the windows at 2am by dunking the mop over the side, visibility was bad the following day, I'm sure it was foggy! I think I'm banned from the Thames now.

You are banned, and in fact your picture is on posts all along the Thames!
