LOL! Smokey is the symbol of the United States Forest Service. Here in Alberta,....it is Bertie the Beaver! LOL! Typical Canadian,....looking at beaver as a source of inspiration!

LOL! Nope! Bertie The Beaver was given to Alberta by the Walt Disney Studios back in the fifties,....and he has been the symbol of AFS/LFS/SRD/ESRD ever since. Dang,...every rookie Ranger has been forced to get drunk, and the next day, march in some parade in the town he was stationed as the Beaver! lol!

A quick google search of Bertie will prove to you I am not pulling your leg!
