Stedan: Certainly bit like " Obstinance - Younger parents are also found to take a greater interest in the lives of their children. This is probably because older parents will die sooner and see less of their child's adult life. Or maybe it's because older people are a spent force:

Why not pick up on his deliberate slight towards older people? Do you consider yourself to be a spent force?

My realistic answer to the question if the lady in question is healthy and of childbearing age, in a good relationship...so why not..lets look at Simon Cowell.. 50 plus...but oh yeah forgot about the little 300 million nest egg so child safe...and if your really a pessimistic person why bother having kids as the world will end any way with all the fruitcakes knocking about around the globe...jmho
Good grief! a serious reply from u,Stedan,or is it just sarcasm.

A bit of both depends on how you read..but the serious side is being healthy etc...and not only that it is up to individuals to decide between them..not via a poll or other people opinions..like they say to each their own.

Clarification at times is just removing the blinkers...and any way a little humour or sarcasm generates responses whether good or bad..am off to pick up my older mother at 82 and yes I have a younger brother who is nigh on 15 years younger..he does not have autism or downs syndrome..just a lazy booger...rolling on the floor laughing
