sometimes i feel a shame ,cos my English is not good for a person having living in London for 6 years.But when i just came back home in 2008 my English was perfect.Over time its getting worse and worse as theres o one around to practice my English.Luckily this forum helps me a lot, Felix. ------ This thread is Archived ------

I feel embarrassed when I go abroad like my French is near 0.i don't know Spanish,or German,etc etc, ,yet when my mothers Spanish and Italian students come here they expected to learn English so they can get good job and it the spoken language in many countries,I admire them in their efforts, I'd like to see most of us English speaking like England,Ireland,etc etc try to speak other languages,,yes there are lots that do,,,but isn't it a proud thing to speak the language of your origin and being able to speak English too.i wish I could speak different languages,so I try to learn the basic please thankyou no yes if I visiting a country of different origin,and know abit about there culture too,,,I stepped over the rope in Athens when visiting the colusiums,...I have to watch myself,.better go make my curry,,,adios,
