Married "Online" Friends.... (8)
Gotta be other agendas, no? This is a dating site. For folks looking to make friends of have a pen pal, their are Friend sites. They are just as common and numerable as dating sites. Im not saying everyone in that category has other agendas. I would certainly be wary though, of someone's motive if in fact they were married and active on a site such as this.

Lots of people in relationships can come on dating sites. I see it on POF too. Some just like the forums. Some just like to meet new people.
There are several regulars on here as well, who are not not married who still participate on these sites. They are just off the market.

I think that staying here for the forums is different than starting out here off the market and only for the forums......
Okay to get to Wikkeds question..... I don't think that somebody in a relationship would come here just for the forums. Like somebody said, there are so many different kind of forums.....
I'm kinda going around the married title so we cannot have anybody "throwing" at us that we are "only" separated.......

I wholeheartedly agree that married people need "friends" and outlets too...I just don't think "dating sites" is the place to find them...I think there is a a more "deep rooted" problem if they go searching for "friends" online...
When my marriage started to break down...I made friends in my community...I volunteered my time at school...I called up old friends...I used to even make appointments with my family doctor...just for a "shoulder" to cry on...
When i decided to "join" a "friend" site...I fooled myself into thinking that it was just "friends" i was going to make...and for the most part i made sure that they lived far enough away that i would not be "tempted" to meet them...but our conversations were not that of "just friends"....
