In response to: I have been chatting to a man on and off from the pof site now for two weeks on and off, don't ask me how I find the time between things on the home front and being on the forums alot,

Anyway he lives in the country in Wexford and wants us to take the next step and meet up and go for a drink, but I've told him I don't drink so he said that's fine, thing is when people meet up they go for just a few drink and it takes the edge off things ,I get bit nervous and then I usually shy away from it but I don't want to this time,

How do you feel when you going out to meet someone for first time,

well bit of neves but hardest part is waiting at the meeting point i go little early than stand there looking round waiting trying to pick her out of the people walking from her photos and checking the time playball try to pass the time

I didnt agree to meet ,his first proposal was do you want to go for a walk some where nice to suit a fine woman like you,

Then he said sorry if he was too forward,

And then suggested coffee and chat in the morning time, that suted him as he going to town anyway,

I said I couldn't do that day and he said well any time I'm free ,

But you see I've changed my mind and that's okay he said fine if I change my mind ,

Spoke on phone I've different humour and I just know its a no go ,thete are others in the sea .beer

To namby pamby (almost sounds happy)

peachmelba: Then he said sorry if he was too forward,

a sign of weakness. Especially saying the 'S' word for no reason..

peachmelba: And then suggested coffee and chat in the morning time, that suted him as he going to town anyway,

He didn't even suggest a cold beer (pineapple for you) and shoot some pool!!!

peachmelba: I said I couldn't do that day and he said well any time I'm free ,

Wayy to happy...

peachmelba: But you see I've changed my mind and that's okay he said fine if I change my mind ,

He sounds like he needs to be more assertive and take control...

So he didn't have a slow Belfast drawl that gives most good ladies goose bumps..

That's made me laugh so much,

Yes I should of said yes to the walk and I bring a picnic basket,

He went from a walk to the country and possibility of a quickie in the woods,

Then for a quick convenient meet in his time into town anyway ,,just to get the meet over and quick to get onto second meet to try again for the walk possibly to the country lane or woods for the so called picnic,

Then it replies with sur when your free them,

Sounds to me like an opportunist,

Voice on phone very masculine actually and does climbing and pics of him in Forrest up to eyes in mud ,love outdoor pursuits, works hard,

Very masculine to look at,

Think my prob is I'm attracted to this rough rugged man but smooth and whatever kind of attitude and actually I want to and drawn to but shy away,

No hope for women like me,sad flower

I'm drawn to a man that is confident yea like he makes the rules,

But I don't like it when he has to be the one calling the shots I had a boyfriend like that and that's why we didnt suit be friends with his so called benifits,

His benifits didnt benefit me,

Yes thete is a contradiction in the way I'm thinking

It's like a moth drawn to the light or should I say dark

But I'm better now at keeping at a distance,
