lifeisadream: Legal and illegal immigration have both: bad effect$ and good effects$ on a country’s economy (anyone with 2 connected neurons can see that) and when both of them are analyzed under a scientific method, their difference is not significative, like in the USA case.
Legal and illegal immigration in USA has two sides, it does benefit lots of business and businessmen and the economy of the people but at the same time it hurts the ones in the lower ladder of jobs because of competition.
The interesting thing here is that the ones who benefit the most from legal and illegal immigration are the ones with the discourse to ban it (businessmen, republicans…) and the ones that get the worse effects (blue collar workers) are the ones that usually vote democrat and democrats are the ones that favor immigration.
At the same time neither democrats not republicans do propose a serious approach to regulate better migration -legal and illegal- because of the political cost to their parties.
On the topic:
Americans applying to be illegal immigrants, they need to learn a second language first -I think- and since the majority of the illegal immigrants speak Spanish -only56 % are Mexicans though - then, it is time to learn Español.

go down there now under the wing of a canadian mining consortium
on their leased property from the mexican gubment,
it's aggravating, all of south americas cast offs can come here
but if you go there and try to make money, they will disappear you.
