First there was cold turkey, then there was weaning, hypnosis, the Patch, Psychology, replacement therapy, fear, workplace rules, rejection etc etc. Now science and technology steps in to save you with e-cigs and "vaping".
But wait....
All that glitters isn't gold. You may just be trading one form of Cancer causing habit for another.

I've never been more convinced that the best way to quit smoking and slowly killing yourself is to never start in the first place.

I raised 2 sons, neither of them are, or ever were, smokers. I made sure of that because besides all my other duties as a parent, my highest priority was to make sure they never succumbed to this filthy expensive habit. I did it in a very novel way. I kept them broke! I never gave them an "Allowance". I paid them for doing chores but they were so lazy that they preferred to do nothing for free, than to do anything for pay. As a result they had no money to throw away on cigarettes and if they ever did any chores to earn some money for whatever, the thought of throwing it away on cigarettes was abhorrent to them considering what they went through to get it. Plus the friends who smoked didn't like to hang around with them because they couldn't bum a butt from them because they didn't have any.

Just thank your stars your method of not paying your children for chores worked out well to stop them from smoking.
I think they probably learn more from u not smoking than your keeping them broke. They are good children really, because some other children would have found other ways of getting money for the dirty smoking habits.
I wish every parents are like u setting good habits for their children, then probably the world, the environment will be a cleaner and safer place for all to enjoy.
