At 5 feet 1 inch, I have not dated anyone shorter than me, but I have dated men my same height; both were very cute. Other men were not much taller. My best friend was in a LTR and had a kid by a man much shorter than her; she was 5' 7" and he was 5' 2". But to be honest with you, my tastes have changed and I like a guy to be several inches taller than I am now. But that is personal preferance and what you do is completely up to you and nobody else's business. Let love prevail and ignore the naysayers. My daughter is dating a short man.
Fly out, where to . I do fly over to Austraila and have done by myself and vist my friend in Tasmaia, i doubt any one would date me over there ether and i do have some lovely friends there and those im involved with in our Brass concert bands, members some 70 ,
I never knew short men had such an issue over their height...it just never entered my world...then i met someone vertically challenged and they explained to me how complex it is...after listening and appreciating his point of view, it became apparently clear that there was much more unspoken process underneath it all
they compensate in so many unconscious ways...they take affect when threatened, are more defensive than necessary and often need to prove something.... can be very passive aggressive.
mollybaby: I once met with somebody who claimed to be 5'10", if he was 5'7" he was lucky He got short shrift from me too! If someone would lie about something as obvious as height, god knows what else he'd lie about.
Well you would soon find out the measurements of that....

I dated a guy my height and my best friend is slightly taller than me. I want to in future only date guys a lot taller than me. My ex husband was over 6 ft, so r my kids, and I will stick to that. Short men r always trying to prove themselves somehow. I want peace in a relationship.

He can have as many billion dollars as he like. If I don't like him I don't.

Stedan I don't know who that Bernie Eccleston is but you are comical.
A man's back or front pocket has nothing to do with of why I wouldn't date a short man.

Stedan: The thing is though Snooks....for a small man and he is not exactly a good looking chap but throughout his life span ALL his female partners have stood a good head and shoulders over him and at least 20 - 30 years younger.....so in reality it is his Wedge (Money) not his pocket knife.
Yes. Money talks with most people. If the money is right they r prepared to do practically anything.

I did find the picture of Bernie and his daughters and he is short but is a nice looking man.
Since the women in the picture obviously have heals on it makes him appear to be very short.
I have no problem in dating shorter (than me) women. So, why would you ladies have problem in dating a shorter man?! Where is equality here?! I mean if you women want to be "equal" to men in all aspects, then aren't you supposed to date shorter men too!?
