1. He is too old for you.
2. I mean do you wish to be a Carer in 5 years time?
3. Even though he is financially sound, does`nt this look like a

I am certainly not jealous of DJ as he is a personal friend am just trying to put him in the right frame of mind about his involvement.
I certainly did not mean any disrespect to Val as am sure she is intelligent and world savvy enough to make up her own mind. As for attracting a younger woman...no thank you I married one once who was 10 years younger...all it did was AGE me mentally and financially.

My answer to question 3 slipped out of the quotation, so the reply in red should be taken as the answer.
I understand you wishing to help your friend, but from my perspective as someone looking from the outside, your suggestions were not helping the situation, better to sit back and let them sort out their own problems, they are not children, but being around if the situation becomes a sad one, is one a true friend can then show his support.
I appreciate your experience has led you to believe that age matters in relationships, but one or two failed relationships does not mean all will fail, and certainly a 46 year old woman with a 66 year old guy is just as likely to be successful as one between 65 and 66, in my experience. But that is my experience and not yours. No disrespect intended
