I don't think that what you've said here constitutes meeting a soul mate.
For me, a soul mate is someone who chooses to stick with you despite hard times, someone who knows your faults and accepts and wants to hang out with you despite them. A soul mate is someone who is content with you despite there being better looking people that they could have chosen or could choose at any time.
A soul mate is someone whose heart connects with yours and who chooses to stay connected when it would be easier to walk away.
These things constitute a soul mate more to me than the 'feelings' you describe. Sure those things are really nice, and they can be indicators of meeting a soul mate, but they are also indicators of infatuation that can be short lived.
A soul mate is there for the long haul. That is what really constitutes a soul mate for me.

I think the first clue is when you, without any good reason to expect to hear from them, reach for the phone before it rings because you feel them dialing your number, and of course as it rings you feel it is them and you are correct.
