jono7: larry's from kentucky.....

are you sure which side of the bridge you are on...?

Very true, but I believe Larry fought all his Iconic Free Speech legal battles in Cincinnati ... especially, his landmark case defending his Hustler publication depicting the Rev. Jerry Falwell discussing his “first time,” which took place in an outhouse with his mother.

galrads: Yes, Jono7, I believe you about the drive-thru booze shop. If I remember correctly, smokers there needed to go south across that bridge again to legally get a much better price on cigarettes. Cartons of cigs were taxed far less in Kentucky.

I spent more time in Hamilton county in the 90s for Ohio EPA during the decominishing and demolition of Fernald nuclear enrichment facility.

rizlared: Jumping to conclusions???

Winston Churchill drank whiskey not beer

I guess he drank the beer to chase all the hard booze he drank in the U.SA. White House. Churchill would drink the White House dry while visiting during WWII. After gulping all that down, he'd visited his mother's family for more. Although he drank from dusk to dawn, he handled it well.

And... Home of the 2015 national collegiate football champions ... The OSU Buckeyes! Great marching band too......

Did you ever get a chance to visit the College of Engineering and Applied Science Library at the univ of Cincinnati? There's a bust of a long dead family member and scientist honored in that foyer. I never heard the end of that one until the Fernald task was over.
