As a child tv cartoons were not an important part of my upbringing.
I have only brothers so I used to play every game with them not matter how physical/challenging they were yet I do remember having some thin children’s magazine kind of about cartoons with the Disney characters and something that I do remember from them is the shoes of a "pig" lady called Petunia
and sometimes -some friends and family- would say those shoes look like Petunia’s shoes.

Interesting notion about this kind of attempt to control humanity and it's no surprise that there are those who are trying to be successful at it, but to remove the ability to have faith and hope in an entity, would also remove faith and hope in other areas, if not completely, which would create an even more disturbing culture.
No faith, nor hope in Government, relationships, friends, employers. We are created to have faith and hope, towards what we can't see. And we certainly can't see the world in-front of us all of the time. Not having faith and hope that our employers will pay us at the end of the week, alone, would cause a huge disruption in employee/employer relations.

Technology and knowledge will grow exponentially in the near future. Pray it is for good and not evil. The device op references I think treats severe depression. The statistic about decline in faith 25 % .......well people whove been suicidally depressed and pulled from the depths frequently have many different changes in viewpoint, mostly temporary.
