purr4mance: have you ever been to the usa on one of your adventures?
No, not yet.
...but it's going to happen...on my bucket list.
The father of my children is American born. They have extended family in Kansas.
I raised the kids with a little of the American culture....pumpkin pie, the kids call what we would ordinarily call biscuits here, cookies...they love American hot dogs etc

Who is Sam ? I couldn't find the answer, but what was found is that three fellows who are not named Sam, wrote this song:
Don Black - Has also provided lyrics for Andrew Lloyd Webber, Quincy Jones, Lulu, Henry Mancini, Michael Jackson and for many more.
Hank Marvin - Multi-instrumentalist. Lead guitarist for, The Shadows, and in the backing band for Cliff Richards.
John Farrar - Wrote many of Newton-John's hit songs: 'Have you ever been mellow', 'You're the One That I Want' (1978 duet with John Travolta), 'Hopelessly devoted to you, and 'Magic', plus many more.
Proud to say that everyone on this post is living. And Olivia is the youngest, at 67.
Song released: 1977 - Reached number 1 on the easy listening chart, and reached twenty on the Hot 100 pop/rock chart.
