In theory maybe but in reality after 2 world wars and what is current with IS and other extremists your theory does not hold.
While I and about 3500 others in the RAF in the 50's were taught the skills I never look for trouble with an individual or a gang but I know how to deal with it if they get serious - even if killing is the only option.
Trump and his devoted far right mafia is an example in the States and Cameron and the whole Tory Government is the prime example of gang warfare and treason against the working & poorer classes, pensioners, disabled, Mentally ill, nurses, and all the British nation by selling all our sovereignty and law making out to the German & French dominated EU dictatorship and giving out misinformation disinformation baloney and fear.

He is the only politician with the knowledge and guts to speak the truth. My trades union membership in the 60;s 70's and 80's level entitled me to see the documents others were denied and to which Nigel refers.

That IMO should still be punishable by death.

Being an agnostic and having served in the RAF when we had a serious powerful Air force with serious equipment, and capability to make our own laws, defend and attack, I think about my decorated relations who defended us and democracy from fascism during Ww2.
I have therefore since my childhood having witnessed the outcome, always been and still remain more practical and realistic.
BUT - Having had our hands tied, all our national assets sold and the making of our laws removed without our specific democratic wish by corrupt wealthy self-seeking career politicians and a remote un-elected bureaucratic dictatorship since 1975 it is why I see what has been done as provocation and am even more vicious in refusal to accept being called a European by anyone when I am English.
