Several times lately I have went to a "blog" that sounds interesting, only to see that the author doesn't allow comments. I don't get it. Why would this in any way be profound or helpful? Any ideas?
(the latest I viewed was about American Presidents being held accountable for certain actions. Wouldn't it be the antithesis of commentary to not allow other commentary? )

Perhaps that member had problems with hostile or inappropriate comments in the past or something
