Grumpywriter: I love my gadgets - Dusty, my robot vacuum cleaner is testimony to that - but I am considering getting a Kindle. Do I need one, or are my phone/tablet just as good (battery time excluded).
I'm a lover of moonreader on my Android, and not sure that a Kindle gives me much more, plus it's another thing to be carrying/charging/losing.
Advice?

I don't know what moonreader is but I have the Kindle app on my phone and tablet, no need for extra luggage

Moonreader is a book app that kicks the Kindle app's posterior IMO.
But a simple b/w kindle lasts for a gazillion years before charging and is less stressful on the eyes....
My reading has dropped because of the latter issue.
