felixis99: it was interesting. it did not become totally dark. That says a lot for how bright the sun really is when you consider that it was mostly [and for a little while completely] covered!!
I was truly amazed that it did not get a lot darker and that the small sliver of light still lights up the planet so well. LOL.... but it was still very cool to experience it. I am still a bit weary of looking at it even with the cardboard glasses. ;-}

I agree, I also thought it would be darker. Maybe it did a few 100 miles south at ground zero
