britishcolumbian: A friend of mine has a bussiness and when her customers say to her; "Happy Holidays" she tells them; "Oh I was not going anywhere"
Can't you be happy at home? I am.
I like this country. I like these people. I like this town. I like my flat. I'm happy here. Especially when I get extra few days of free time. Am I odd?
rizlared: I would rather people said "seasons greetings" than "Happy Holidays" if they really cannot bring themselves to say Merry Christmas.
Cannot understand why it got changed, especially as those that say 'Happy Holidays" will still exchange presents on the 25th.
Merry Christmas
People can be puzzleling Lol did I spell that right? And being hypocrites to boot We are not "allowed" to say; Eskimo We are not "allowed" to say; Indians Yet we have a minister of Indian affairs etc. How many years did people say; Merry Christmas no one minded.......... I know people who make it a point to say XMas unaware that it means the very same
A girl read her bible at recess and was told this was not allowed Yes I have been told that every month in New York, several streets are cordoned off, to allow the Muslims to pray You figure this out as I can't.... Do you believe for one second that if I were to move to Indonesa, as an example, that the Muslims there would let me tell them what they can and not can do ???
