i too have worked with kids forever.. when they told me to ask my son
how he feels about .. how much i luv them..
he said.. "the more luv u put in the world mom..
the more there is for everybody".
he was 12 then...
and it really made the kids at work think..

on the skating thing- I asked a friend of my son's to teach me to skate backwards (his mom is a former olympian, and he skates beautifully) anyway, he said wiggle, wiggle wiggle, and you'll go backwards so I tried, he said harder, and I nearly wiped out...then he shook his head, said You're just too old to learn and skated away! he's lucky he skates so fast, or I'd have thumped him! lol
that is funnyI'm still waiting for good advice from my kids.
