No Lee, the man doesn't need to be anything other than sincere genuine and no ways contrived..The best compliment I was ever given in my life was walking down a UK street almost 30 years ago by a man in his 80's. He told me that he just had to get off his bike so he could come over and tell me. He pushed his bike along as we walked and chatted...it turned out that he was an officer during WW2 and that his generation knew what they were talking about when it came to the compliment he paid me...Our conversation lasted about five minutes but that man really set the bar for me. I've absolutely no idea who he was, nor did I ever see him again....and he wasn't 6' either...
