rohaan: Hey there, lad- yes, it has been a good week ( except I have missed hearing from you..)
Yes, I’m wearing a mask. I find the washable cloth ones more comfortable.
Yes, I’m adhering to social distancing. Slight reservation: I don’t have very many acquaintances or friends who DON’T embrace. So, more often than not, I’m hugged before I know it...we don’t have many cases here, but I may have to step up to the plate. It sucks, because much of my social life includes embracing my homeys.
Yes, I wash my hands all the pea-pickin’ time—especially now with the kitten, but I always am conditioned to hand-washing (career..)
I can’t say I’ve had “ enough” of politics, although during an election year there is predictable poly-saturation of it.

Did you get my Gaelic song? Any errors you notice? I guess I have come to depend on you a little for my Celtic world—I apologize if it seems over-reaching, but it’s not all that easy to find a co-patriot. My Scottish buds here are, well, arbitrarily SCOTTISH!!
Hey Rohaan, I didn't get the Gaelic song, I'm not fluent, but I'm sure I can get it proofed..
There has been over 1000 new cases reported this week here in the north along with some tightening of restrictions, crazy stuff as there are bars and restaurants open all over the place, it's hard to fend off the hugs after a few pints of Guinness..hug

Where is the song and I'll see if I can get it sorted for you, anytime though and no need for apologies chara..

cheers hug

TheDino1: I'm in agreement with you on this, but was it not socialism that caused all the problems for the Native Americans?
(
My back-up for the following- Portland State University Senior year “U.S. History II”

It is widely accepted that Native Americans knew no viruses, such as influenza, smallpox ( bacterial infections, et al..) before the pioneers crossed the plains. I could be wrong—but that was course material in colleges two or three decades ago.

Hi my main manwave

A good week all round.

Monday had the builder in to sort out a few jobs, also sorted myself out with a yearly G.P. review and a Flu jab all booked in.

Tuesday tried to sort out a collection of curtains that were inferior. If they don't collect the machine comes out and I'll be cutting them up for cushions etc.

Wednesday finally got on a Bus after 9 months. Weird or what.laugh

Thursday got my new Mobile phone up and running at last

Friday rain stopped play.

Saturday shopping delivery and social distance visit to a pal.

Sunday . Stuck it to G.B on the " Does age matter thread" He's like a broken record.doh

Finally here's a piccie of today's effort. If the connoisseur of cookery namely T.C pops in and complains about the roasties being undercooked you can tell him I cooked it for me not him. The spiced red cabbage is home made to go with the lamb leg steak.

Slainte.hug

Hey GS, sounds like a good week all round..hug

And the lamb dinner looks delicious too..

That GB needs it given to him by the shovel load, just the way he bombards all the threads with his BS, sure we can just ignore the nonsense and carry on regardless.. Enjoy the rest of you're weekend, rain stopped play here and the stuffed pork chop is just waiting to be stuck on..grin hug

Looks lovely. I like roast pots in goose fat and golden brown. I eat that whole plate GS.

I like caramelised carrots with cumin and pistachios.

Red cabbage is a favorite of mine.wine
