Abagail: That picture of the octopus emulates the music. It's a good fit.
I haven't asked.. you caught up with grandkiddies on the weekend... how was that? My head has been elsewhere lately.
Yes they are great lads, we had a day with the them at the gallery a couple of years ago, 6 different artists all creating a piece. octopuses of course..:)
Yes I got to get a few hugs from the grand kids on Saturday, then joined a few friends for drinks in the sun.. Suffered Sunday though..

( I am still listening to the last one you shared- my cat has no appreciation for it... she keeps jumping on my keyboard and muting it)
That's a really great photo... you look so relaxed. I am laughing at the X... X marks the spot? I am glad you had a great time with the grandkiddies.
Ohhh I like galleries... I love that they open a world to infinite possibilities.
TheDino: Yes many churches and lovely sites, I ended the day by worshipping St Guinness in the studio..
St Guinness? Right... I am not sure it's a Saint. I actually went to the Guinness place in Dublin... found out that I really don't like Guinness...but wow... the views! Magnificent.
That second photo reminds me of Melbourne...we have graffitied alleys everywhere in Melbourne.

Well I sure did feel saintly after a few of those..;)
The ally always looked so dull, so we brightened it up a bit, pity it is all down for redevelopment at the moment.. Of course the church will stay..
Abagail: Saintly? You mean you wanted people to be on their knees in front of you. That doesn't make you a saint.
"We" brightened it up? Did you paint this? I visit graffiti alleys as often as I am able to... they fascinate me.
Amazing history for one street...that's the sort of place I like to explore.
I probably should share another music clip... this is a bad I really like.
Hmmm Well I bless those that knee in front of such a sight..
There is a night dedicated to Culture here every September, we host different events all year round, a graffiti artist from Brazil painted the mural outside the studio/gallery as part of Tour of the north, when international artists paint murals and other pieces around the city centre, the new mural just went up over the past couple of days... Used to be just red brick..
Abagail: I am not sure how YOU knew it was a bar. Geez, you don't seem sociable at all.
WOW the difference from before to after is mind-blowing.
Believe or not but "Sting" worked in the bar before he was famous.. It's been a studio art gallery for the past 20 years though, a great community hub right in the centre of town, mostly funded by the artists and contributors
Imagine being served a drink from Sting! Now that would rock.
I love guitar music, I could imagine sitting in a bar listening to this gent play. When he talks he sounds so cute, but then when he sings...the accent is lost for me. It's really beautiful. So while we are sharing people we know...

Excellent, we'll have to get you a phrase book when you visit..
Took these pics the other day, the weather was great for a change..
I have photos like this of places I visited... it's a great way of documenting where you have been.
So, this song I am sharing I loved so much I sought the CD which was so hard to get...it cost me quite a bit to get a copy and when I got it, I played it incessantly for awhile.

Very true 'tis amazing the new things to see on a walk around town..
I have a few CD's I had to play out meself, they always good for a trip back also, this is one of my favourites..
Abagail: You must have travelled a bit.. have you ever been anywhere that you have heard reggae live?
Home grown music for me-
Top O' the morning to ya..
Yeah I love to get about when I can, and if there is a reggae gig somewhere I can reach then I'm packing my bag.. This was one of the best festivals I've been to though, Burning Spear with many others in the South of France is hard to beat..
