Inthewoods: I missed Ireland during my 17 day European vacation back in 2001 ... (Got back right before 9-11-2001) ... I can't remember why my trip didn't include Ireland... ... All I've seen is pictures of the coast, it looks very beautiful.
Having mixed weather is better then being the same all the time... ... Living by the sea would be nice, I've only seen it a few times in my life... ... ... I dream of walking on a beach barefoot, feeling the sand between my toes... ... ... There is so many beautiful places on this earth, I hope we can keep it that way...

You wouldn't get much sand on the beaches where I am. Mostly ocean worn rocks here though you could still walk barefoot as the rocks are usually smooth. May be a little cold if you decide to get in the water ------ This thread has reached the limit ------

we have lovely sandy beaches here track, i like walking the rocks aswell,, but you need good boots,, and you can go from one beach to another, but you have to watch the time's of the tide ,,its different everyday,,

There are only a couple of sandy beaches here. I was on one several years ago but we didn't stay because it was swarming with red ants at the time. The sand is nice though underfoot.------ This thread has reached the limit ------

I used to do a lot of trail riding on ATVs. My favorite ride was to go somewhere deep in the woods following old woods paths and go places I never been to before. Once I got somewhere I liked, I parked and soaked up the atmosphere.------ This thread has reached the limit ------
