Who had, way back before the internet, talent shows on TV where it was jugglers, guys spinning plates and someone who could put their foot behind their head?

I have a vauge memory of "The Gong Show". Probably only watched it a few times, but I wouldn't consider that "talent", more of a mockery that attempted to be funny
The Gong Show is an American amateur talent contest franchised by Sony Pictures Television to many countries. It was broadcast on NBC's daytime schedule from June 14, 1976, through July 21, 1978, and in first-run syndication from 1976 to 1980 and 1988 to 1989, and was revived in 2017 for broadcast .

As kids we weren't so much spectators as we were participants. We didn't watch a lot of tv and definitely woudn't have watched that kinda stuff..too boring.....but we did do that stuff ourselves though, out playing , at school...at home/at friends houses if it was raining and we couldn't go out etc...
Never span plates though..because.mother would have killed us so it wasn't worth the grief we'd get
