Tiger_Moth: I'm rather sick of many on here who seem to think that the passing of an elderly lady who was greatly loved and admired across the World , whether Royalty or not, is an excuse to dish the dirt that has been plastered across this and many websites .
There's a time and a place for everything but not when people are in mourning surely.. Isn't that a tad disrespectful.
Tiger. Some people thrive on trying to wind people up. I was sick to death seeing a certain person's posts regarding Israel and Palestine. The same as his photos regarding King Charles and Jimmy Savile. It used to upset me at the time but then I realised that some people are just craving attention and they'll do anything to try and get it.
Our Queen will get the burial of which she so deserves and sod anyone that doesn't think so as they are irrelevant. God Bless our King Charles. I'm sure he will follow in his Mother's footsteps
secretagent09: Just because you are entitled to say something it doesn't always mean that you should.
You have to ask yourself should I say this about her/him or is it wrong to do it.
We all know right from wrong. We all know that when we do wrong in the eyes of the law we will be punished. However, when we do wrong just to harm someone as he did about Dedee he lives up to.... "To Thy Own Self Be True".
When a person shows their true colors in a negative way you find out what stirs in their brain. Then you have the advantage for a win. What they said about you is empty and doesn't have any value.
Once you say it you can't put it back in the bottle.
Name_Taken_Two: It doesn't matter if you/we tolerate them, they are still entiltled to free speech there..
The world has forgotten the importance of having rights. People tend to be spiteful just because they can. But that doesn't justify them as the rightful person. Their life has not been affected in any way by the person they visiously attack but they do it anyway. No rights have been taken away from them either. Why are these people so angry? And why do they believe they can project their personal unsatisfaction on to a stranger. Throwing dirt at a dead person and disrespecting their grieving relatives is beyond understanding of human rights.

I respect what you are saying, and you ask the question "Why do people believe", it's my belief that they see it as their right, but then it brings this quote to mind.. "We are all equal, although some are more equal than others".. It's an international forum so there are bound to be differences of opinion and a difference in the way we/they express those opinions..

Tiger_Moth: How does one define this "freedom of speech"
'Freedom of speech is the right to seek, receive and impart information and ideas of all kinds, by any means. Does this then give others the right to cause insult and hurt to others with our free speech.
As decent human beings we never have to accept what others say without question and are entitled to cast an opinion ,yet many times we are castigated for daring to challenge someone .There is much controversy and hate in our World today whether it be political ,religious, colour, creed or even jealousy, which sadly continues to divide and separate us from others.
You don’t have to accept or even approve of all of the other person’s attitudes or behaviours .The most important skill in communication is the ability to listen to others. Rather than doing all the talking, take the time to stop and hear what others have to say. Refrain from interrupting or talking over other people. Sadly we forget the "rules of engagement" for want of better words as can be seen frequently on the Forums and blogs.
Is conversation good for the soul or can it be soul destroying?
"Freedom of speech" has always depended upon who yells or screams the loudest either vocally or by "the press" at any given time. Hearing the screams and yells the proverbial "sheeples" of the world in all countries will follow either with bowed heads or pumping their fists in the air....pathetic.

Jewish American journalist sacked for calling Israel 'apartheid' state
"In the latest crackdown on free speech when Palestine is the topic, Jewish American journalist Katie Halper has been fired by The Hill for calling Israel an "apartheid state". Known for her podcast, Rising, the 41-year-old had drafted a monologue in response to the recent attacks on Rashida Tlaib. Halper was initially blocked from making the comments in support of the Democrat member of the US Congress, but was later dismissed from her job."
