He claim he shot through the door cos he thought there was an intruder there... completey unlikely
cos from what I hear him and Reva was having a loud brawl that night. For his scenario to have been true he had to be asleep, and woken by noises at the bathroom..... (and somehow NOT checking if it's your gf... that it actually was...) nonono- not likely at all! Sounds like a typcal up spin!
I also see motive: jealousy. She was beautiful as f. If she had been a 7 instead of a 10 she might had been alive today roh.

Temper is not good enough excuse. If he'd admit I'd reduce to 25years.

rohaan: I have to tell you...I was very surprised at some of my homies' reactions to the Pistorious tradgedy. One of my best friends from childhood, now a highly regarded degreed registered nurse, was wanting him thrown off a steep cliff into a raging ocean....I do know one thing: he's out of money, essentially, and the country will have to pony up expensive service people (his life is constantly threatened..) and medical attendants, a domicile of some kind, heavily guarded. He won't be able to be in the public eye--his health has deteriorated to the max; he's disabled and won't be "earning" any money--on the dole and a ward of state for the rest of his life.
I think some mental health issues maybe the cause of his violent outburst...but Reena is not alive...and most people have no problem turning their backs on him...but I would stop short of harming him or preventing good medical care and supplies...The other reason for such disgust...he was a hero to his country...now an embarrassment to his country...

I'm with ya, darls---you know, we ALL have the potential to become very, very angry, it's a human trait. No excuse for letting it get to the violent stage.....I agree with you 100%. But. I'm a medical professional, and have also done some social work, so, I would probably be decent to him if we met. I don't like to see any person or animal suffering in any way. I guarantee he is suffering....Karma takes no prisoners and coddles no favorites.....The other reason for such disgust...he was a hero to his country...now an embarrassment to his country...

I don't feel sorry for him. The man is a murderer, not a cold blooded murderer, but a murderer all the same. But I don't think much of a justice system that gives him 5 years, only to release him early, but then give him 6 years before later deciding that it's 15 years. Ideally he would have got 15 years from the start and considered himself lucky, and ideally he would have been honest from the start, too.

And to be honest I'd stick an extra couple of years on for the fact you could feel sorry for him. People are going to make it easy for him as an ex-con murderer, the end of jail will be the end of the punishment which is not right so I'd give him more time in jail.
