An unreasonable fear of snakes.
Death, pain no problem but a slithering snake makes me back away in fright.

This happened to me. You understand how I am regarding religion, very specific.
My first Cancer surgery took sixteen hours and removed a 2.2 lb mass from my back.
I first woke in recovery in shock.
They put me back under.
The doc said if I could eat a cup of Sherbet and walk I could go home. This is like three am in February.
I did that.
The nurse left me and my GF went to get the car.
I was visited by a being of light with a feminine aspect. She placed a freezing cold heavy linen weave cloth across my wound. I could feel it dripping.
I knew I would be fine.
I have run through everything from shock, to memories waking in surgery to medication hallucination.
It happened.
No words.
I am supposed to do something. Possibly I will say something someone else will share with someone in need or as inspiration.
To end this, I'm split stapled and stitched across my back. I can't raise my left arm. the GF has to go to work and I took the dog down a flight of stairs out for his walk.
My third surgery at Roswell. I did the same ate and walked the halls hoping to go home. That was twelve hours and around my neck.
No luck on going home but the docs said hey had never seen anything like it.
Take it for what it is worth.
It happened.

Once upon a time, as a man was walking through a forest, he saw a tiger peering out at him from the underbrush. As the man turned to run, he heard the tiger spring after him to give chase.

Barely ahead of the tiger, running for his life, our hero came to the edge of a steep cliff. Clinging onto a strong vine, the man climbed over the cliff edge just as the tiger was about to pounce.

Hanging over the side of the cliff, with the hungry tiger pacing above him, the man looked down and was dismayed to see another tiger, stalking the ravine far below. Just then, a tiny mouse darted out from a crack in the cliff face above him and began to gnaw at the vine.

At that precise moment, the man noticed a patch of wild strawberries growing from a clump of earth near where he dangled. Reaching out, he plucked one. It was plump, and perfectly ripe; warmed by the sunshine.

He popped the strawberry into his mouth. It was perfectly delicious. The End.
