He was a junkie and an alcoholic. Not someone to look up to. He got buried in a wicker basket too instead of a coffin.

Amazing scenes at his funeral, Nick Cave paying tribute singing A Rainy Night in Soho. then Family and friends dancing by his coffin in the church to a band playing Fairytale of New York is probably just how he would have wanted it.
