Hurricane Katrina Victims Or War In Iraq (48)
Believe it or not, there are still places in Florida that hasn't got rebuilt from the same year. And yet it's never on TV, because it's on the Indians reservation, Seminoles, I hope I spelled that right.
A friend of mine that is a cop, went down to Orleans here just recently, and told me that there are ppl still living in those so called trailors. He told me that there are no restrooms in those trailors. They have a truck trailor with showers and outhouses spreaded thru out. And as many trailors there are, only one of four keys are needed for the lock on the front doors.
You folks are right though, we need to take care of our homelands before taking care of another country. And if enough ppl start saying things to the polititians, we might get somewhere. I rather help someone next door that I hate, than to help someone I'll never meet.

It would have been a decent thing for our really bright and intelligent president
to at least mention New Orleans and Katrina victims in his SOTU address.

I'm glad to share my experiences. Its important to me that my fellow Americans don't think of New Orleans, Louisiana, and Mississippi as far off places, but as places important to our nation's history where so many of our brothers and sisters have found their home.
