1.If you have honesty you know you can trust.
2.If you have good communication you can build an understanding, even when it comes to hearing things about the other you would rather not know. At least you have an opportunity to decide where things are going when you know what's up.
3.Respecting the other person as an individual is very important and they should respect you back.
4.Forgiveness has to be in any relationship worth anything. Nobody is going to be 100 percent happy with someone all the time no matter how much they care. If someone cannot forgive they truly "don't" care. That doesn't mean you let someone walk all over you.
