Just saw on the news that there is another claim that Jesus tomb has been found in Jeruselem. It is approximately 2,000 years old and contains the bones of Jesus, 2 Marys....the whole family....Jesus' vault says "Jesus, son of Joseph".......this should be interesting....the last one was Fraudulent.......
Indeed. How do you get God to show up for a DNA test? At any rate, all such things are, strictly speaking, a matter of faith. You either believe it or you don't. Currently there are 13 nails on display around the world that it is claimed, are the nails from the cross. When it comes to faith however, physical proof is not necessary.
They have been claiming that for almost thirty years. The thing is....the names Jesus and Mary and Joseph were very common around the time of JESUS.They also found many many graves with those names on them of that period. kAT
Yes, I have seen something on it, though didn't manage to catch it all.... There has been speculation for some time as to whether Jesus actually sired children and, quite honestly, I don't see why not. Abra is correct, Jesus was a common name then, it is an ordinary name and, in some parts, still used today.
I think it will turn out to be historically-based, rather than religous but it will interesting to see the conclusions. Though, if nothing else, there will no doubt be a spectacular Hollywood block-buster to come out of it......... Alas!!
"It was an ordinary middle-class Jerusalem burial cave," Kloner said. "The names on the caskets are the most common names found among Jews at the time."
It was actually Jesus's "Casket", not tomb :) I saw the program too, but I believe at the end of it they said it could not be verified. I am religious, and I think this is some sort of hoax because we all know Jesus died and was resurrected. 'Nuff said.

The word Jesus derives from the ancient hebrew(So I've read)"Jesu"which apparantly mean't leader.Don't take my word though read Graham Hancocks best seller "Fingerprints of the Gods"its a fantastic book that delves into alot of ancient mysteries.
